About Me
I'm infamously known for being the girl who is always smiling. I am a sophomore at the University of Michigan majoring in Communications and Media, taking a sports broadcasting and journalism route. Additionally, I plan to possibly minor in business, diving deeper into discovering the business behind sports. I am extremely passionate about sports and am continuously filled with excitement to merge this passion with creativity in everything I do. I used this passion and creativity to produce new and innovative pages as Sports Section Editor in high school, always looking forward to working and writing with my peers. Throughout high school and college, I was both academically and athletically involved. In high school, I was a Detroit News CATCH Award recipient in Athletics, MIPA Student Journalist Staff member in Digital Media, Norsemen Tide student section leader, student council vice president, a LINK Crew leader, Norsemen News anchor, KNOTS and Unified member, NHS member, Interact club member, varsity field hockey player, varsity volleyball player, and varsity soccer player. My soccer team won the 2023 Division Two State Championship, and I even made one of the PKs securing the title in the Final. At U of M, I am a Play-By-Play and Color Commentator for the largest student-run sports radio, WCBN Sports Radio, and a regular host for WOLV-TV Sports Center. Additionally, I was just hired to work as a rotational crew member for Big Ten+ Student U Productions. Discovering the business side of sports, I was an intern for the largest student run conference in the country, Michigan Sports Business Conference, and am a member in Sports Business Association. Amongst all the chaos in my life, I have always found peace through sports. This blossomed from a young age. My family are huge Buffalo Bills and Michigan Wolverine fans so I grew up surrounded by sports. In the future, I aspire to be a sports broadcaster and journalist, working with companies like ESPN. It is a dream of mine to be a regular reporter for the NFL. Below is my resume filled with my honors, awards, extracurriculars, experience and more.
